Τhe waterproof spots offer safety and convenience to outdoor electrical installations providing a solution to the lighting of the garden, especially in household and professional applications such as lighting of recreational and other places of interest. They are produced in four colors (green, black, white and in grey) helping to fully integrate into any garden architecture.

They offer an IP65 protection rate, due to the redesign of the waterproofing o-rings, which means that they can be installed even close by an automatic watering system. The performance of the spot has been improved because of the increase of the diameter of the arm as well as the change of the raw material to Nylon P.A. 6.6. As the waterproof spots are mainly intended for outdoor placement they are extra stabilized against the UV radiation and highly resistant to ageing. They comply with the RoHS directive (restriction of use of dangerous substances in electrical and electronic equipment). They have new labeling which present the manufacturer, the protection rating as well as the CE mark and data for the product’s traceability.

VIOKAR created a new package designed to educate consumers to the improved features of the series. The new package has illustrative technical symbols that inform the consumer about the properties of the product for the better understanding of the application fields. There are also symbols to remind to recycle the product and the used lamps at the end of their life. The basic information of the package is presented in four languages to best serve the consumers abroad. Within the package there are further detailed installation instructions of the product for safe and easy installation.
